Harry Kane fired his second Bundesliga hat-trick of the season as Bayern Munich eased past Hoffenheim 4-1 on Saturday, while Hamburg celebrated their first top-flight win in over seven years.
The England captain, fresh off a Champions League brace against Chelsea, continued his blistering form despite a heavily rotated Bayern side under Vincent Kompany. After Hoffenheim’s early dominance, Kane broke the deadlock before halftime from a corner. He then struck twice more from the penalty spot in the second half the second awarded after a VAR review.

Serge Gnabry added Bayern’s fourth in stoppage time after Vladimir Coufal’s deflected free kick gave Hoffenheim a consolation. Kane now boasts 13 goals this season, including eight in just four Bundesliga games, and has converted all 17 of his penalties in the league.
“Hat-trick Harry is what they called me in school,” Kane told DAZN, admitting his spot-kick streak requires constant practice and preparation.

Meanwhile, newly promoted Hamburg finally tasted Bundesliga victory again after 2,688 days, defeating Heidenheim 2-1. Luka Vuskovic and Rayan Philippe struck either side of halftime, with Arsenal loanee Fabio Vieira providing the assist for the second. Heidenheim pulled one back in stoppage time, but Hamburg held firm to end their long drought.

Elsewhere, Freiburg beat Werder Bremen 3-0, while Mainz stunned Augsburg 4-1 despite going down to 10 men. RB Leipzig were set to host Cologne later in the evening.
