The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board has announced that candidates registered for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) can now print their examination slips.
In a statement shared on its official X platform on Thursday, the board confirmed that the slip printing process is now active, allowing candidates to access key details about their examination.
“This is to notify you that examination slip printing is now available,” the board stated, noting that the document contains essential information such as the exam venue, date, and time, and is mandatory for entry into the examination hall.
JAMB reiterated, “Attention 2026 UTME Candidates: This is to notify you that Examination Slip Printing is now available.
“The slip contains details of the venue, date and time of your examination and gives you access to the examination hall.”

The examination body had earlier fixed the UTME schedule to run from April 16 to April 25, maintaining that all preparations remain on track.
It also cautioned candidates and the public against misinformation, particularly reports claiming the exam had been postponed. According to the board, such claims are false and did not originate from its office.
“Our attention has been drawn to a malicious press release alleging that the 2026 UTME has been postponed. We wish to state clearly that the notice is fake and did not emanate from the board. Candidates and the general public are advised to disregard it. All arrangements for the 2026 UTME remain on course as scheduled,” JAMB stated.
In addition, the board provided updates on admission benchmarks, revealing that the 2025 policy meeting approved a minimum score of 150 for universities and 140 for colleges of nursing. It also set 100 as the minimum score for polytechnics, monotechnics, colleges of education, colleges of agriculture, and innovation enterprise institutions.
JAMB further confirmed that the minimum age requirement for admission into tertiary institutions for the 2025/2026 academic session remains 16 years.
Candidates seeking to print their slips are required to visit the official JAMB website (www.jamb.gov.ng), select the UTME slip printing option, and input their registration number to access their details.
