The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arrested 120 individuals in Lagos State for suspected involvement in internet fraud.

In a statement shared Monday on the commission’s official X handle, it was revealed that operatives from the Lagos Zonal Directorate 1 executed a coordinated operation across multiple locations in the state.

The operation resulted in the seizure of 26 luxury vehicles, along with high-end jewelry, mobile phones, laptops, and various incriminating documents.

Of those arrested, 95 were male and 25 female. The suspects were apprehended following credible intelligence and sustained surveillance regarding their alleged cybercrime activities.

According to the EFCC, the suspects are currently undergoing further investigation and will face charges in court once the process is complete.
