Big Brother Naija Season 10 finalist Sultana has spoken out for the first time about the controversial disqualification of fellow housemate Faith Adewale, in an incident that sent shockwaves through the reality show’s fanbase.

Faith was disqualified from the competition following a physical altercation with Sultana during what should have been a routine group task rehearsal. The confrontation, which occurred in the latter stages of the season, marked one of the most dramatic moments in Big Brother Naija history.

In the aftermath of the incident, Sultana sustained multiple injuries, including a twisted ankle and hand injury. The severity of the situation became apparent when she raised concerns about possible internal bleeding, though the full extent of her injuries has not been publicly disclosed by show organizers.

Speaking in a candid post-show interview with Arise TV, Sultana addressed the incident that cut Faith’s journey short, offering a nuanced perspective on the disqualification that divided viewers and sparked intense social media debate.

“I did not feel good about Faith’s disqualification, although he paid the price for what he did—he went out of hand,” Sultana revealed, her words measured but clear. “But, regardless, I wasn’t happy about it.”

Her comments suggest a complex emotional response to the situation. While acknowledging that Faith’s actions warranted consequences—describing his behavior as having “gone out of hand”—Sultana made it clear that she took no satisfaction in seeing her colleague removed from the competition.

The disqualification raises broader questions about the boundaries of acceptable behavior in high-pressure reality television environments, where contestants live together 24/7 under constant surveillance. Big Brother Naija’s rules explicitly prohibit physical violence, and the show’s producers have historically maintained a zero-tolerance policy on such matters.

Faith has yet to make a comprehensive public statement about the incident or his removal from the show. Meanwhile, Sultana successfully navigated her way to the season finale, though she ultimately did not claim the grand prize.

The incident serves as a stark reminder of how quickly circumstances can change in the Big Brother house, where emotions run high and a single moment can alter the trajectory of a contestant’s journey.
