Abdulaziz Ganduje, the eldest son of former All Progressives Congress (APC) National Chairman, Abdullahi Ganduje, has returned to the APC after spending about three months with the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC).
Abdulaziz was formally welcomed back by APC members and party officials on Sunday at the Ganduje Ward office in Dawakin Tofa Local Government Area of Kano State.

According to Daily Trust, he also received a new APC membership card during the event, confirming his return to the party.
Abdulaziz had earlier left the APC and joined the NDC in Kano State.
While in the opposition party, he obtained the NDC nomination form to contest the Dawakin Tofa/Tofa/Rimin Gado Federal Constituency seat in the 2027 general election.
Meanwhile, the NDC vice-presidential candidate for the 2027 election, Rabiu Kwankwaso, has dismissed the political influence of former Kano governors Ibrahim Shekarau and Abdullahi Ganduje, as well as the current governor, Abba Yusuf.
Kwankwaso said the three politicians were no longer politically relevant in Kano State.
The former Kano governor made the statement while speaking during the News Agency of Nigeria Personality Interview Series on Sunday in Abuja.
Kwankwaso also claimed that Ganduje’s political career would have been better if he had remained with the political structure they built together.
He said Ganduje’s current political situation was a result of his decision to separate from him.
