Super Eagles coach Eric Chelle has unveiled a formidable lineup for Nigeria’s crucial 2026 World Cup qualifier against Rwanda, with Victor Osimhen and Ademola Lookman leading the attack in tonight’s showdown.
Lookman, the reigning African Player of the Year, and his predecessor Osimhen are in fine form for their clubs this season, having both scored over 40 goals this campaign.
Samuel Chukwueze and Simon Moses also feature in the starting eleven, while Wilfred Ndidi of Leicester City and Fulham’s Alex Iwobi will control the midfield for the three-time African champions in Kigali.
Defensively, Iwobi’s teammate Calvin Bassey and Troost Ekong will partner in the heart of the defence for Nigeria while pair of safe hands Stanley Nwabali mans the post for Chelle’s men.
Bright Osayi- Samuel completes the first eleven. However, Bayer Leverkusen’s Victor Boniface and Tolu Arokodare of the Belgian side Genk are on the bench for the must-win clash.
