Dangote Petroleum Refinery has reduced the ex-depot prices of Premium Motor Spirit and Automotive Gas Oil, marking its first price reduction after several recent increases.

The new pricing template released by the refinery on March 10, 2026, shows a noticeable drop in the gantry prices of petrol and diesel.

According to the template, the gantry price of petrol has been reduced by ₦100 to ₦1,075 per litre from the previous price of ₦1,175 per litre.

The refinery also stated that PMS supplied through coastal distribution will sell for ₦1,050 per litre, showing a slightly lower price for fuel delivered through marine channels.

The company also announced that the gantry price of Automotive Gas Oil, commonly known as diesel, has been reduced to ₦1,430 per litre.

This represents a reduction of ₦190 from the earlier price of ₦1,620 per litre.

However, the refinery explained that the quoted gantry prices do not include statutory charges imposed by the Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority.

The price reduction comes as global crude oil prices have recently declined, easing some of the cost pressure in the international petroleum market.

Reports also show that the fluctuation in petrol prices has led some filling stations to sell fuel to customers for as much as ₦1,250 per litre.
