President Bola Tinubu has signed the N54.99 trillion 2025 budget into law, assuring Nigerians that it will empower citizens and build a more resilient future.

The signing ceremony, held on Friday at the Presidential Villa in Abuja, was attended by Senate President Godswill Akpabio and other National Assembly leaders. Tinubu emphasized his administration’s commitment to economic reforms and strategic governance, stating that despite the challenges of the past year, significant progress has been made.

He highlighted key economic improvements, including GDP growth rebounding to 3.86% and a rise in government revenue to N21.63 trillion. He also noted that the Naira has stabilized, reflecting the strength of economic reforms.

Acknowledging the collaboration between the executive and legislature, Tinubu praised the National Assembly for their role in budgetary processes and assured Nigerians that his administration would continue working towards national progress.

“With the light now visible at the end of the tunnel,” the President stated, “we will continue to push forward to ensure that every Nigerian benefits from governance and economic growth.”
