The Confederation of African Football has officially released the complete list of award winners from the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, following Senegal’s hard-fought triumph over hosts Morocco in the final played in Rabat.
The tournament concluded with high drama, as Senegal edged the hosts 1–0 after extra time in a tense final that captivated fans across the continent.

Pape Gueye proved decisive in the 94th minute, breaking the deadlock after a goalless 90 minutes to hand Senegal their second AFCON title.
The final was disrupted by prolonged stoppages after a late VAR-reviewed penalty was awarded to Morocco, but Brahim Diaz’s effort was saved by Senegal goalkeeper Edouard Mendy. Senegal held firm under late pressure to seal the title and bring the competition to a memorable close.
Following the final whistle, CAF confirmed both the team standings and the individual honours that recognised the standout performers of AFCON 2025.

Brahim Diaz finished AFCON 2025 as the tournament’s leading scorer with five goals, underlining his impact despite Morocco’s narrow defeat in the final.
