The Kaduna State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has suspended its State Secretary, Sa’idu Adamu, over allegations of gross misconduct and anti-party activities.
The suspension was approved by the State Executive Committee following a resolution by the State Working Committee during a meeting held on Monday at the party’s secretariat in Kaduna.
In a statement signed by the State Publicity Secretary, Maria Dogo, the party said the decision was made in accordance with Articles 58(1)(h) and 57(3) of the PDP Constitution (2017 as amended).
The statement noted that Adamu’s suspension takes immediate effect and will last for one month pending the outcome of an investigation and subsequent decisions of the party.

During the suspension period, Adamu is prohibited from participating in any party activity at any level.
“The PDP wishes to assure its members and the general public that the party remains resolutely committed to upholding internal discipline, fairness, and justice under the able leadership of the State Chairman, Edward Masha,” the statement read.
It added that the ongoing efforts of the State Working Committee are geared toward strengthening the party’s internal structures and promoting accountability across all levels.
