The restriction will be in effect from 12:00 am in Sabon Gari, Zaria, Chikun, and Kajuru Local Government Areas. This directive, according to a statement released by the command’s spokesperson, DSP Mansir Hassan, is a key part of the security measures established to maintain order during the polls.

DSP Hassan emphasized that the restriction is designed to protect public safety, prevent any disturbance, and guarantee a peaceful and transparent electoral process. He noted that the directive is binding on all residents, with exceptions only for individuals on essential duties and those holding valid election assignments.

The police command further appealed to the public to comply with the order and conduct themselves responsibly. Residents were also urged to cooperate with security agencies to ensure that the election is free of disruptions and conducted without incidents.
