Video: Sabrina Alleges BBNaija Denied Her Return After Hospital Declared Her Fit

In a tearful revelation that has sent shocks through the Big Brother Naija fanbase, former housemate Sabrina has come forward with explosive allegations regarding her controversial exit from the reality show, claiming she was barred from returning despite being medically cleared by hospital specialists.

The reality star, whose sudden departure from Biggie’s house on medical grounds left viewers puzzled and speculating, finally broke her silence during an emotional live session with fans, painting a starkly different picture of events than what the public had been led to believe.

According to Sabrina’s detailed account, her ordeal began immediately after her Monday exit when she was transported to a recommended medical facility for comprehensive evaluation. “I was led to a specialist, a gynecologist. He examined me the same day, general medical assessment,” she recounted, her voice heavy with emotion.

What followed was a period of medical limbo that would prove far more significant than initially anticipated. The clinic requested her admission, and by Tuesday afternoon, the results were in. “I was told all results were unremarkable—medical language for nothing they do for me [I am fine]. Nothing was wrong with me. I was told I was fine,” Sabrina explained.

The revelation that followed would shatter her expectations entirely. Despite receiving a clean bill of health, Sabrina claims she was instructed to “hold on” without any clear timeline or communication. For five agonizing days, she remained in medical isolation, cut off from the outside world.

“I had no access to my phone, nor did I consume any form of media; I didn’t even watch television,” she revealed, describing a period of enforced digital detox while she anxiously awaited word of her return. “I prayerfully longed for a call that would confirm my return, but days passed and nothing.”

The call that eventually came on Friday delivered what she described as devastating news. “I received what I consider one of the most excruciating calls of my life. On the call, I was told, “I have the unfortunate task of telling you that you will no longer be returning to the show.”

Sabrina’s account raises serious questions about the show’s production protocols and decision-making processes. Her claims suggest a disconnect between medical clearance and production approval, indicating that factors beyond her health may have influenced the final decision.

The reality star’s emotional plea—”Do I want to come back? Of course, yes. I don’t think my journey has ended”—underscores her belief that her departure was not her choice, contradicting any narrative that she voluntarily left the competition.

Beyond the professional disappointment, Sabrina’s statement reveals the personal toll of her abrupt separation from the BBNaija experience. Her references to missing fellow housemate Kola, the diary sessions, and even the clothes she never got to wear paint a picture of someone whose reality show journey was cut short just as it was beginning.

“I miss Kola as much as he misses me. I miss the lights, I miss diary sessions, and I haven’t worn half of the clothes I brought in,” she said, highlighting the incomplete nature of her experience.

This development adds another layer to ongoing discussions about transparency and participant welfare in reality television production. While shows like BBNaija have established medical protocols for contestant safety, Sabrina’s allegations suggest potential gaps between medical fitness and production decisions that warrant closer examination.

As of press time, BBNaija production has not responded to requests for comment regarding Sabrina’s claims. The controversy continues to generate significant discussion across social media platforms, with fans demanding answers about the circumstances surrounding her exit.

The case highlights the complex dynamics between reality show production, medical protocols, and participant rights—a conversation that extends far beyond any single season or contestant, touching on fundamental questions about how these popular programs operate behind the scenes.

WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW

Former BBNaija housemate Sabrina alleges she was wrongfully prevented from returning to the show despite being medically cleared by doctors. After leaving on medical grounds, she spent five days in hospital isolation waiting for approval to return, only to receive a devastating call that she would not be allowed back, contradicting her claim that she never chose to leave voluntarily.
