US President Donald Trump announced on Wednesday the launch of a new website—TrumpCard.gov—for his proposed $5 million US residency visa, dubbed the “Trump Card.”
While the visa itself is not yet available, the website now features a sign-up form for individuals to express interest by submitting their name, desired visa type, and email address under the banner: “The Trump Card is Coming.”
Trump promoted the initiative on social media, claiming there has been overwhelming interest:
“Thousands have been calling and asking how they can sign up to ride a beautiful road in gaining access to the Greatest Country and Market anywhere in the World.”
He originally introduced the concept in April aboard Air Force One, unveiling a golden prototype bearing his face. Trump described it as a premium pathway to US residency and citizenship, designed to attract “job creators” and contribute to reducing the national deficit.
The Trump Card visa is positioned as a high-end alternative to the traditional green card, carrying a hefty price tag of $5 million.
Despite ongoing immigration enforcement crackdowns and civil rights lawsuits facing Trump’s administration, the former president continues to frame the Trump Card as a tool for economic growth. He previously stated the program could potentially include up to one million participants and did not exclude Russian oligarchs from eligibility.
