The nominees for the 2025 Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA) have been officially announced, celebrating outstanding achievements in African cinema and television.

This year’s nominations recognise a stellar lineup of actors, filmmakers, and content creators whose work has significantly impacted the industry over the past year.

Leading the acting nominations are Nollywood stars Stan Nze, Uzor Arukwe, Chioma Chukwuka and Omoni Oboli, each earning nods in competitive categories.

Stan Nze is nominated for Best Lead Actor for his role in Suspicion: The Uprising, while Uzor Arukwe earns a Best Supporting Actor nomination for Suspicion.
