His family confirmed the development in a statement on Monday, revealing that the revered cleric died on October 6, 2025. They described his passing as a “glorious transition” from a life of unwavering devotion to eternal rest.

Ukpai, regarded as one of Nigeria’s most influential faith leaders, dedicated over six decades to spreading the gospel through evangelism, dynamic teachings, and prophetic demonstrations of divine power. His work transformed millions of lives across Nigeria and beyond, leaving an indelible mark on the global Christian community.

“He was a faithful soldier of the cross who devoted his life to spreading the gospel with passion and integrity. His teachings, prophetic insights, and mentorship have left a lasting legacy that will continue to inspire believers for years to come,” the family said.

Throughout his ministry, Ukpai was known for his powerful crusades, life-changing sermons, and commitment to nurturing the next generation of Christian leaders. His message of faith, hope, and revival resonated deeply with people from all walks of life.

They assured the public that information regarding his funeral arrangements would be made available soon.

Ukpai’s six-decade-long ministry continues to influence lives through his evangelistic outreaches, educational projects, and humanitarian initiatives that uplifted communities across the world.
