Renowned Nigerian evangelist and founder of the Uma Ukpai Evangelistic Association, Rev. Dr. Uma Ukpai, has passed away at the age of 80.
His family confirmed the development in a statement on Monday, revealing that the revered cleric died on October 6, 2025. They described his passing as a “glorious transition” from a life of unwavering devotion to eternal rest.
Ukpai, regarded as one of Nigeria’s most influential faith leaders, dedicated over six decades to spreading the gospel through evangelism, dynamic teachings, and prophetic demonstrations of divine power.
