Prince Saud bin Mishaal, Deputy Emir of the Makkah Region, has officially announced the successful and incident-free completion of Hajj 1446, highlighting that the holy pilgrimage was carried out without any major security, health, or service-related issues.
Addressing the media, Prince Mishaal stated that a total of 1,673,230 pilgrims participated this year, including 1,506,576 international pilgrims and 166,654 domestic pilgrims, made up of Saudi citizens and residents. Of the total number, 877,841 were men and 795,389 were women.
“The pilgrims performed their rites in safety and peace, thanks to the distinguished execution of operational plans by the Kingdom’s leadership,” Mishaal said, commending the efforts of the security, health, and service sectors for their seamless coordination.
He extended his gratitude and congratulations to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, recognizing their central role in ensuring the safety and comfort of the pilgrims throughout the sacred rites.
Prince Mishaal also lauded the pilgrims’ cooperation and adherence to the regulations, which he noted was instrumental in the success of this year’s Hajj season.
Looking ahead, he confirmed that preparations for the next Hajj season will commence immediately, reaffirming the Kingdom’s deep commitment to serving the holy sites and those who visit them.
