Prince Harry on Wednesday visited Clarence House, the London residence of King Charles III, marking what is believed to be their first face-to-face meeting since February 2024, according to British media reports.
The Duke of Sussex, who has been in the UK since Monday for a series of public engagements, was seen arriving at the royal residence in a black car, shortly after the King returned from Scotland. The development has fueled widespread speculation about a long-anticipated reconciliation between father and son.

Harry, who stepped back from royal duties in 2020 and relocated to California, last saw his father when he returned to Britain following the monarch’s cancer diagnosis. In May, the prince acknowledged that their relationship remained strained, citing ongoing legal battles in the UK and criticism he has directed at the royal family in televised interviews and his memoir.
Despite this, Harry has expressed his hope for “reconciliation,” stressing that he is uncertain “how much longer my father has.” His visit this week also included a private moment at Queen Elizabeth II’s grave on the anniversary of her death.

Reports noted that while Harry had traveled to the UK three times since their last meeting, he had not been able to see his father, even once when both were attending events only two miles apart. However, a recent sighting of King Charles’s press secretary meeting with Harry’s communications team in July had already sparked speculation of a possible reunion.
