President Bola Tinubu, on Friday, received the Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Akeem Abimbola Owoade, and his wife, Abiwumi Owoade, at the State House in Abuja.
Also in attendance were top officials, including Chief of Staff to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila, and Minister of Information and National Orientation, Muhammed Idris, reflecting the sustained partnership between the federal government and traditional institutions.
The Alaafin’s delegation, joined by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Public Communication, Sunday Dare, engaged in dialogue focused on deepening cultural connections and exploring new pathways for socio-economic growth in Oyo State and the wider Southwest region.
President Tinubu and Oba Owoade were photographed with key members of the presidential team, emphasizing the harmony between Nigeria’s modern governance and its traditional leadership structures.
