Senator Orji Uzor Kalu, representing Abia North Senatorial District, has expressed his unwavering dedication to the All Progressives Congress (APC), stating he is prepared to make any sacrifice, including his life, to ensure the party’s victory.

Speaking from his residence in Igbere, Abia State, the former governor assured that he and other committed APC members are working tirelessly to secure widespread support for President Bola Tinubu and the party across Abia State.

While addressing journalists, Kalu reaffirmed his political alignment, stating emphatically that he remains a staunch member of the APC.

According to him, “APC is strong in Abia. Like I said in my interview, I am ready to lay down my life for the party. I am a member of the party and a strong one at that. I am APC to the core. That’s why APC is strong in Abia North.” His bold proclamation was underscored by his confidence in the party’s structure and influence in the region.

Kalu, who previously served as Senate Chief Whip, also stressed that the APC is poised to mobilize robust support for President Tinubu ahead of the next general elections.

He recalled the party’s past successes in the state and projected a repeat performance in the upcoming 2027 polls. “Our party will work hard to deliver the President in the state. We have done it in the past, and we will do it again in 2027,” he added.

Touching on the broader national landscape, Kalu conveyed optimism about Nigeria’s economic future. He praised President Tinubu’s efforts over the last two years, asserting that the President’s leadership has laid the groundwork for economic recovery and growth. He stated, “The economy needs time to bounce back. The President is working to ensure that the economy bounces back.”

Kalu maintained that Tinubu’s economic reforms and policy decisions are already bearing fruit, and given more time, Nigerians would see significant improvements, especially with respect to the strength and stability of the naira. His remarks were intended to reassure both party supporters and the general public of the government’s direction under Tinubu’s leadership.

In reaffirming his loyalty to the APC, Kalu’s statement was not only a demonstration of personal conviction but also a rallying call to party faithfuls across the state. His comments were aimed at strengthening party cohesion and reinforcing the message that the APC remains a formidable political force in Abia North and beyond.
