EFCC Restitutes Over $120K and N70 Million to International Fraud Victims

In a significant step in its ongoing battle against economic and financial crimes, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has returned a total of $120,548.43 and N70,602,841.46 to fraud victims from the United States, Spain, and Switzerland.

The recovered funds, seized from local fraudsters, have been handed over to the affected foreign individuals as part of the EFCC’s steadfast commitment to delivering justice and restitution to those harmed by fraudulent activities.

The anti-graft agency reiterated its determination to pursue financial criminals and recover stolen assets, emphasizing that these efforts not only serve justice but also bolster Nigeria’s credibility in the global fight against financial crimes.
