APC Governorship Candidate Joins ADC
Former Adamawa All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate, Senator Aishatu Dahiru Ahmed Binani, has officially joined the African Democratic Congress, ADC.
The development was confirmed after the party presented her with a membership card, marking her formal entry into the ADC.
The party made the announcement through a message shared on its official X account, stating that Binani had completed the process of becoming a member of the party.
ADC welcomed the former lawmaker and said her entry adds to the party’s growing membership across the country.
The party also expressed hope that her political experience and involvement in public affairs would contribute to its activities as it continues to build its structure.
Binani became widely known in Nigerian politics during the Adamawa State governorship election where she contested for the top position in the state.
Before then, she had served in the National Assembly and built a political profile through her participation in national and state politics.
Her decision to join the ADC follows her earlier exit from the All Progressives Congress, APC.
She had announced her resignation from the ruling party in June 2025 before deciding to move to the African Democratic Congress.
