Armed military personnel stormed the headquarters of Ikeja Electricity Distribution Company (IKEDC) on Thursday morning, creating chaos at the facility located opposite MITV in Ikeja, Lagos.
According to reports, the uniformed officers arrived around 7:40 am and began assaulting staff members and other individuals present in the building. The motive behind the invasion remains unclear at this time.
Despite police intervention, the armed group, allegedly led by a woman, has refused to stand down. Authorities are yet to issue an official statement on the incident.
