For the second weekend in a row, Chelsea were undone by a red card, this time in a 3-1 loss to Brighton.
Enzo Fernández gave the Blues a deserved first-half lead with a fine header, but the game turned on its head in the 53rd minute. Trevoh Chalobah was shown red after a VAR review ruled he had chopped down Diego Gomez, who was racing clear on goal.

Brighton quickly made the man advantage count as Danny Welbeck headed in the equaliser. Maxim De Cuyper then put the hosts ahead before Welbeck struck again in stoppage time to seal a dramatic victory.
Liverpool’s Winning Run Ends at Crystal Palace
Liverpool’s flawless start to the Premier League season ended in a 2-1 defeat at Crystal Palace on Saturday.

Palace, now the only unbeaten team in the league, extended their record run to 18 games in all competitions without losing. Ismaila Sarr opened the scoring after Liverpool failed to deal with a corner, before Federico Chiesa levelled late in the 87th minute.
But the Reds, so often rescued by stoppage-time goals, were undone themselves when Eddie Nketiah struck almost with the last kick of the game. The result moves Palace up to second, three points behind Liverpool, while Arsenal could overtake them if they beat Newcastle on Sunday.
Bournemouth Snatch Dramatic Point at Leeds

There was late drama at Elland Road as Bournemouth earned a 2-2 draw against Leeds. Eli Kroupi struck in the dying moments to secure a point after Leeds had looked on course for victory.
