In a dramatic turn of events that has sent shockwaves through the Big Brother Naija fanbase, two more contestants bid farewell to the coveted reality show on Sunday night.

Victory and Gigi Jasmine became the latest casualties in the ruthless elimination process that has defined Season 10’s competitive landscape.

The live eviction show, watched by millions across Nigeria and beyond, delivered its verdict with characteristic suspense. Both housemates found themselves on the wrong side of viewer support, garnering the fewest votes among their fellow competitors in what has proven to be an increasingly unpredictable season.

Victory, a 28-year-old psychologist from Akwa Ibom State, brought an unconventional approach to the Big Brother house. True to his self-described nature as someone “deviant” who refuses to conform to societal expectations, Victory carved out a unique identity among his housemates. His professional background in psychology perhaps gave him insights into human behavior that proved both advantageous and challenging in the social dynamics of the house.

Meanwhile, Gigi Jasmine—born Nicole Simon Ogun—represented a different facet of contemporary Nigerian creativity. The 31-year-old DJ and content creator, also hailing from Akwa Ibom State, brought artistic flair to the competition. Her impressive 15-year journey with the flute and her remarkable ability to DJ without headphones showcased the diverse talents that have become hallmarks of the Big Brother Naija casting process.

With Victory and Gigi Jasmine’s departure, the house dynamic shifts significantly. They join five other contestants who have already been shown the exit door, bringing the total number of eliminated housemates to seven. This leaves a smaller, more focused group of competitors vying for what organizers have touted as a “record-breaking” grand prize of N150 million—a sum that continues to attract Nigeria’s most ambitious and entertaining personalities.

As the competition narrows, the remaining housemates face intensified pressure. The N150 million prize package represents more than just a monetary reward; it’s a career-defining opportunity that has consistently launched previous winners into entertainment stardom and business success.

The dual elimination serves as a stark reminder of the show’s unforgiving nature, where popularity, strategy, and viewer engagement determine survival. As Season 10 progresses, fans can expect the competition to become even fiercer, with alliances forming and dissolving as quickly as the weekly eviction shows arrive.

The journey continues for the surviving housemates, each now acutely aware that their time in Africa’s biggest reality TV show could end with any Sunday night broadcast.

WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW

Big Brother Naija Season 10 lost two more contestants—Victory, 28, and a psychologist, Gigi Jasmine, 31, a DJ, both from Akwa Ibom State—in Sunday’s live eviction due to insufficient viewer support.

With seven housemates now out, the remaining contestants face intensified competition for the record-breaking N150 million grand prize, as the show’s unforgiving elimination process continues to narrow the field toward an eventual winner.
